太浩湖夏游直播（第一天）

夏天到了，孩子放暑假了。又有理由向LD要钱出去玩了。-- 嘿嘿，不是俺贪玩偷懒不干活，而是能让孩子开阔视野增长知识培养情操。-- 冠冕堂皇吧？ 瞧，我们5家17口今天开拔直奔太浩湖（Lake Tahoe）。这次我要为大家直播我们的夏游活动， 每天一集。要看更多照片，请登陆我的博客 http://xuphotos.blogspot.com/。现在就请跟我们去游太浩湖吧。

01 今天（06/17/2011），我们从南加出发，沿395 公路一路往北，边开边玩用了12小时。前半程都在沙漠里。 On the way to Lake Tahoe, the scenery was dull and boring, with Joshua trees scattered around.

02 看到一个太阳能发电厂，好高兴。After driving for a few hours, we saw some solar panels generating energy for an electrical plant we passed.

03 从Mammoth Lake 开始，进入山区和森林，渐渐漂亮起来了。We passed these beautiful mountains that surround Mammoth Lake.

04 从158号公路转入，有3个湖 （June, Silver, Grant）.其中June 最漂亮。 This lake is called June Lake; it was the most beautiful place we stopped at today.

05 人们在此垂钓。A fisherman relaxing and fishing on the peaceful June Lake.

06 度假。 We stopped by this interesting log cabin by a lake with unique window covers.

07 划船。 Next to it were some colorful kayaks.

08 从120向东５码到MONO 湖看湖中的怪石。Mono Lake's unique rock structures called 'tufa'.

09 顿回首，猛然见到神奇的大自然造化　－　骏马背着羔羊奔腾。 Looking behind us at Mono Lake, we noticed that the snow in the mountains created the image of a horse carrying a goat on its back, running.

10 鱼儿嬉水 We also spotted a fish jumping out of the water.

１１　我们从３９５转入８９号公路去太浩湖。　在山区和森林里转，　非常漂亮。虽然要多开一小时，非常值得。　　 On the CA 89, we saw beautiful, peaceful mountains.

原计划在120公路向西转入Yosemite NP, 看看这1200平方英里公园的东面部分。可惜在修路不让开。小小遗憾。留着以后来吧 -- 又有理由来玩了。今天的活动介绍完毕。诸位晚安。
