there are many excursions, the famouse one is the White Pass and Yukon Route Railway, a scenic and historic adventure that follows the famous Gold Rush trail through the mountains towards the Yukon in Skagway. Also there are trips to see the glacier and see bears in wild life. The train cost some money but the other trips are cheap and you can get a bargain on shore.
