Ambassador Auditorium

离LA Pasadena市 Old Town 不远，有一个非常安静的地方，叫做Ambassador Auditorium，它有一大片绿地，几栋非常美丽的大房子，当然少不了那个金碧辉煌的大音乐厅。。。。我常常觉得这里应该是恋人们谈心说爱的最好去处，可惜的是，我去了不下十几次，没有看到过一对恋人，是现在的人太忙，没时间谈工作以外的事？还是现在的世界，已经没有人相信感情？这个问题太大，就不再这里讨论。。。。呵呵！

这一天，撇下那些忙也忙不完的工作，我又来到这里，总想有一天可以在这里听一场歌剧，嗯，象 Phantom of the Opera 就不错，可是再想想，我不也是每天忙着忙那，连睡觉时间都经常不够，怎么能够静下心坐下来听音乐？不要到时睡着了，那可是给人当笑话了。

网上找来关于Ambassador Auditorium的介绍：

The Ambassador Auditorium is known as the "gem" of downtown Pasadena. The former Auditorium of the Worldwide Church of God has long been recognized as the premiere auditorium facility in Pasadena.

Often compared with the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion or the Kennedy Center for its beauty and elaborate finish, the building is furnished with Iranian onyx, African teak, wool carpet from India, and splendid gold overlay. A maximum seating capacity of close to 1500 and featuring underground parking nearby, the 45,000 sq foot facility is a Pasadena landmark.

Ambassador Auditorium has hosted major area arts events such as concerts by Luciano Pavarotti, Arthur Rubenstein, Pearl Bailey, Bing Cro*****y, and the Vienna Orchestra. Located on St. Johns St., just off the Rose Bowl Parade Route and the three major Pasadena freeways, the Auditorium is frequently noted as a feature of our city for its beautiful architecture and setting.

<8> 还是这栋房子的雕花好看些。这房子前的台阶是玉石做的，真的是一尘不染，我站上去之前，看了半天自己的鞋底，确定干净后，才站上去的，哈哈！我这番动作，真的引来了一个 security 的关心, 他走过来， 看了我好几眼，我又没做什么坏事，也盯着他看，最后他跟我斗眼神失败，落荒而逃。。。。他可能跟了我老半天了，可惜我的警觉心不够，居然没发现！
