Morning of 2008 New Year Eve

The morning outside of the cottage is quiet and refreshing, sunlight glittering, bird chipping, pine needle woozing.

The old stove to burn logs.

A couple of pictures Chris took outside of the cottage. Sometimes I do wonder how come such a goof-ball can have a pair of arty eyes?! It does not make any sense!

Here is the goof-ball.

Chris taking a quick nap before the morning bike ride. I think he was just "vacationed out". This is ironic, when we are too busy to keep up with the hectic life, we would cry for a nice-long vacation. When we are outside of the "norm" for a while we miss that day-to-day routine of going to work in the monring and coming back home at night.

The cottage we stayed at is cute, cozy and homey. It’s very relaxing to lay on the little daybed at the sun, reading a book, watching the sun light coming through the leaves from the trees outside, taking a nap
