So you can cross The Highlands to the side of the "Lochs" then come down to England. You can fly out either from Manchester, or better yet, get to Paris from Liverpool, spend a few days in Paris before going home.

It is even more expensive now - GBP is more than 2x USD, even CAD is higher than USD... :-(
