With only 7 days, you can only stay in Sydney and
see some places nearby, the coastal area and '
Canberra. You need at least 2 days to tour the city
in Sydney, the Rocks, the zoo, the harbour, etc.

If you want to see the real beauty of Australia,
you either go to Golden Coast and GBR, or join a
outback tour. BlueMountain is green, but not the
typical outback scene of Australia. The nearest
outback station is Broken Hill, west of NSW.
Hobart and Port Arthur are very nice, but, to see
the real beauty of Tasmania is to go to S/W coast
by taking a flight tour, or hike on the Overland
Track, Craddle mountain.

Not to discourage you, if you don't have enough
time, I suggest you cancel the Tasmania trip, focus
on Melbourne and Sydney.
