据美国媒体报道，美国哈佛大学当地时间5日发布一份正式声明，对禁止学校教授与本科生发生性关系做出严格规定。

据报道，哈佛大学校方发布这一声明表示，该校对教育行业“不平等身份性关系”的反对态度，声明可以看做是哈佛大学校方的正式表态。

哈佛大学人文与科学委员会的性失德督查部门表示，哈佛大学认为此前该校对“不平等身份性关系”的表述不够强烈。

“因此，委员会修改相关政策，给出明确的禁令阐述，以便更好地开展工作，”哈佛大学在声明中表示。

报道称，此前，哈佛大学在类似问题上的政策是不允许有直接指导关系的教授和学生之间发生性关系。

如今，哈佛大学修改后的政策则是禁止任何教授和本科生发生“恋爱或性关系”。

哈佛大学历史系教授、相关政策制定者约翰逊说，这项禁令去年曾在该校大范围征求学生、教职员工等人的反馈。校方希望这项措施能够对减少校园内的性骚扰案发挥作用。

Harvard University has bannedits faculty members from having sex with undergraduates, revising aconduct policy that school officials decided did not sufficientlyrecognize the "unequal status" between professors and students.

The change, which was firstreported by Bloomberg on Thursday, came about as part of a review of theIvy League institution's Title IX policy on sexual and gender-basedharassment, according to a statement released to NBC News. Thestatement said the review by the Faculty of Arts and Sciences,which oversees the school's undergrad programs, found that the"existing language on relationships of unequal status did notexplicitly reflect the faculty's expectations of what constitutedan appropriate relationship between undergraduate students andfaculty members."

The new policy amends a conductpolicy to say that "no FAS (Faculty of Arts and Sciences) facultymember shall request or accept sexual favors from, or initiate orengage in a romantic or sexual relationship with, any undergraduatestudent at Harvard College." The policy also says that professorsmay not have sexual relations with graduate students who are undertheir "academic supervision."
