民主“自由”，不仅少数服从多数，还包括保护少数派意见。

Even the ideas are wrong, the people holding those ideas still need to be protected. These two are the two sides of the same coin, one can't survive without the other. Failure in protecting the minority and unpopular ideas is the main reason why democratic movements failed around the world. 

Chinese way of "斗争哲学/side with me or die" or "为达目的不择手段" or "因言制罪", will never lead China to democracy. In fact, that kind of belief will doom China forever.
