birth defects and 父母年龄

It is a very true risk that birth defects including autism are directly linked to the age of the parents, especially the mother. After 35, the risk of having defect babies go up by 5% every 5 years.  In general,  for women older than 35,  it is recommended to get a screening for fetus after 20week of regency. 

This is not discrimination, it is science. Having child later than 35 is just a risky thing to do.
