Choose 1&2 plus some distractions

Find something he/she likes to do and do it together, like  go to movies, or go shopping, or some sport activities. Keep in mind, if your plan is to cheer someone else up, take yourself out of the equation. It is about the other person, not about you, so "认为这个亲人娶了（或嫁了）我，应该成天兴高彩列，睡着了也应该笑醒，怎么可能情绪低落的？！一定是故意与我作对！" is a big no-no if you want your plan to work at all.
