You give too much credit to the teaching of philosophy in China.

I managed to learn almost nothing in my college years, especially the history of Chinese communist party. Bought the book, never read it. The instructor didn't even want to talk about, and spent most of the time in class talking anything and everything other than the history of CCP. The final was open book, and I still couldn't find the answers. Since most of the people were in the same boat, we cheated together. I remembered I got something very close to  60 out of 100, If you ask me about the tidbits of history of  CCP, like when/who/where, I wouldn't know the answer even if you put a gun in my head. 

I am so proud of what we did , even till today.
