中國民主鬥士劉曉波病逝 蔡英文表哀慟並致最高敬意 願協助實現民主中國夢

 

蔡英文並引劉曉波的〈我沒有敵人─我的最後陳述〉的句子，〈堅信中國的政治進步不會停止，任何力量也無法阻攔心向自由的人性慾求〉，表示這是劉曉波的中國夢，如果中國夢是走向民主，台灣會在中國實現中國夢的過程中提供必要協助，相信這是劉曉波所樂見。

今晚，全世界關心中國人權的人，都和我們一樣，為劉曉波先生的病逝感到無比哀慟。我要向這位人權鬥士致上最高敬意。我也要向劉曉波先生的家屬，特別是仍然遭到軟禁的劉霞女士，致上我最誠摯的慰問。

2010年，劉曉波先生獲得諾貝爾和平獎。頒獎典禮上，全世界的目光都聚焦在那張空椅子。現在，那張椅子確定永遠等不到劉曉波本人。

劉曉波在〈我沒有敵人─我的最後陳述〉曾經說過：「我堅信中國的政治進步不會停止，我對未來自由中國的降臨充滿樂觀的期待，因為任何力量也無法阻攔心向自由的人性慾求，中國終將變成人權至上的法治國」。

這是劉曉波的中國夢。我們期待中國大陸當局展現自信，推行政治改革，讓中國大陸人民享有民主自由的天賦權利，並為兩岸關係打開新的契機。中國夢不應是耀武揚威，中國夢應該把劉曉波先生的夢想也一起思考進去。落實民主，讓每個中國人都有自由與尊嚴，才是值得驕傲的真正大國。

如果中國夢是民主，台灣會在中國大陸實現中國夢的過程中，提供必要的協助。我相信這是劉曉波先生在天之靈所樂見。

劉曉波先生沒有敵人，因為民主沒有敵人。再一次向劉曉波先生一生的理想與堅持致敬。

劉曉波先生備受中共政權以言入罪，受盡摧殘。寧捨一己自由，堅持與極權頑抗，今與世長辭，不但未見民主降臨中國，就連在離開前呼吸一口自由空氣，都遭到禁止，令人悲憤！令人激怒！

我們懷著悲愴與烈怒，嚴厲譴責與鄙夷殺死劉曉波先生的中國政府！諾貝爾獎得主被收監下獄，延醫致死，歷史罕見，天理難容。然而如今在中國大陸，尚有不計其數的政治犯，可能面對同一下場，我們要求中國政府立即還劉曉波遺孀劉霞及其親屬應有之自由，並釋放所有被濫捕之良心犯！

同時，我們呼籲國際社會共同向中國施壓，促使被困被監控的中國維權人士，盡早恢復自由。誰為了交換中國的好處而噤聲，誰就有份鞭笞無辜者！

劉曉波先生雖然離我們而去，但他口中的道義巨人，即使在重門深鎖的中國大陸，相信亦已悄悄站起。在劉曉波之後，我們沒有退縮的餘地，「灑淚祭雄傑，揚眉劍出鞘」，今夜的悲傷過後，只有奮力抗爭！

再見，願世上再無粉碎的抱擁。

STATEMENT REGARDING THE DEATH OF MR LIU XIAOBO

Today, the world mourns the loss of Mr Liu Xiaobo, the Nobel Peace Prize laureate and activist oppressed by the shameful Chinese government.

After drafting the Charter 08 manifesto to call for human rights and democracy in China, Mr Liu was sentenced to eleven years of imprisonment for “inciting subversion of state power”, and his wife Ms Liu Xia has also been subjected to house arrest and pervasive surveillance by the government. Since his diagnosis of terminal liver cancer, the Chinese government has refused to respect his will of being referred to an overseas hospital, despite an international outcry. Mr Liu passed away without receiving the respect and dignity he deserved.

We demand the Chinese government to immediately stop its suppression over dissidents and release all prisoners of conscience, including the human rights lawyers abducted in the 709 Crackdown. We also call for the international community to continue pressuring the Chinese government to improve its human rights conditions, and pay close attention to the freedom and rights of Hong Kong people under the Chinese authoritarian rule.

In memory of the selfless struggle of Mr Liu, Demosisto will strive to carry forward his legacy, and continue our fearless non-violent protests for democracy in Hong Kong.
