Memphis OTOH, except for Conley and Marc played some quality minutes, the rest of the team, led by ZBo played uninspired at both ends. If this wan't a blowout, 那就没天理了。
Memphis does have a depth problem, and they rely heavily on the 2 big guys to perform well at both ends at same time. As I said before, Memphis didn't have players with good post entry passes. Getting Prince was a good move, but still ZBo couldn't esablish position deep down low, and he's inefficient 15 feet out.
Spurs played beautifully moving the ball and moving bodies. Everyone, led by Parker, kept moving, and never shied away from good open shots. Nobody hesitated, and everyone fought for rebounds and loose balls.
Let's wait and see how Memphis adjust in game 2, to emphasis establishing their inside game, and keep Spurs perimeter in better check. Memphis isn't an offensive power house. They need to keep the points in 80s and 90s and then win on efficiency. If they keep allowing Spurs scoring 100+ points at ease, this would be a short and painless series.
Come on, make things more interesting!
