• Rondae Hollis-Jefferson - Points: 5.8, rebounds: 5.3, assists: 1.5, steals: 1.3, field goal percentage: 45.7%
• Bojan Bogdanovic - Points: 11.2, rebounds: 3.2, assists: 1.3, steals: 0.4, field goal percentage: 43.3%

Biggest acquisition - Lin.

He won't single-handedly dig the Nets out of the NBA's deepest depths in what will surely be yet another lottery-bound season, but Lin brings a massive fan base that sets Brooklyn up for Linsanity 2.0.

Biggest departure - Thaddeus Young.

The 28-year-old power forward led the Nets in rebounding (9.0) and was second in scoring (15.1) and field goal percentage (51.4%) last season. But for a team in the midst of a full rebuild, the Nets' draft day decision to send Young to the Indiana Pacersfor the 20th overall pick (Caris LeVert) and a future second-round pick made plenty of sense.

X factor - Hollis-Jefferson.

One of the lone bright spots for this Nets squad, Hollis-Jefferson — the 23rd pick from the 2015 draft — figures to play a primary role in Brooklyn's rebuilding process. The 6-foot-7 swingman had an impressive start to his rookie campaign (5.8 points and 5.3 rebounds in 21.2 minutes) before missing the majority of the season with a fractured ankle. Back to full heath, expect him to take a big step forward this season.
