他好像很害怕他在你心目中的形象会慢慢黯淡，你会先离开他，所以宁愿保持此刻的美好。给他几分距离，一定时间，他会follow his heart的。但是他宁愿选择普通的话，这是他的选择，是深思熟虑后的。那别人能做的，也是尊重而已。

不过我想你还是会很快bounce back的。

我以前常常不出声的问一个问题“will you still love me tomorrow。”。 追求永恒，strong need for more and more love or attention, 会给人无穷无尽的痛苦。

我觉得人生中很重要的一种素质是: willingness to let it go. Anyone 的如烟人生讲的很透彻了。

最后一首小诗:

something that maybe I'm just too blind to see.
But from what you have said I'm exactly
what you want me to be.
