few Qs for you...

1. how do you avoid duplicate ID -- data validation to ensure data quality?

2. how can you achieve this goal: the ID is readable and meaningfull to data entry clerk and report user -- i.e. 0118625 (see note below);

3. how do you remove those inactive ID from your list in future?

4. would you consider any existing ID (i.e. that's been used for 12 months) editable -- e.g. change 0118625 to 0119962;

5. how would you identify those consignment inventory itmes with the same project/product but come from 5vendors;

6. LIFO or FIFO is in use?
