Mercury

On a monsoon day,

a lightning pierces clouds,

a thunder bursts sky’s chest.

A shower of mercury,

pounds every beating heart,

bounces into invisible balls.

Oh, the poisonous mercury,

tiny and shiny,

rocks and rolls in everyone’s blood.
