当水仙花开始出现

 

当水仙花开始出现，

天哪！山谷那边的荡妇，

唉，来了一年中的甘甜；

因热血统治着冬的朴素。

 

床单在树篱上晒白，

天哪！鸟儿唱得多甘甜！

我牙痒痒，不能忍耐；

因为一杯淡酒是王的晚餐。

 

云雀叽叽喳喳地唱，

天哪！还有画眉和松鸦，

夏歌是我和几个婆娘，

当我们草堆里滚爬。

 

难道要为此哀伤，心肝？

夜间淡月闪亮：

当我四处里游览，

总是走对方向。

 

走啊，走啊，在这路中，

乐陶陶地把门来抓：

快乐的心整天跳动，

过一里哀伤就疲乏。

 

When daffodils begin to peer, 

With heigh! the doxy over the dale，

Why, then comes in the sweet o' the year; 

For the red blood reigns in the winter's pale.

 

The white sheet bleaching on the hedge, 

With heigh! the sweet birds, O, how they sing!

Doth set my pugging tooth on edge;　　　　　 　 

For a quart of ale is a dish for a king.

 

The lark, that tirra-lyrra chants,

With heigh! with heigh! the thrush and the jay,

Are summer songs for me and my aunts, 

While we lie tumbling in the hay.　　　　　　　

 

But shall I go mourn for that, my dear?　　　

　The pale moon shines by night：

And when I wander here and there，

I then do most go right. 

 

Jog on, jog on, the footpath way,

And merrily hent the stile-a:

A merry heart goes all the day,

Your sad tires in a mile-a.
