Pozhenzi By Xin Qiji:

I am drunk, looking at my sword under the adjusted lamp,
It's a dream, bugles call and all my men are ready to fight.
They are sharing grilled beef on the land which is wide,
And the solemn battle hymns are being played by the harp.
All my soldiers are gathering on the battlefield of autumn,
The Di Lu @ horse is faster than wind gusts blowing through.
Their bows and arrows are louder than the bolt from the blue,
We are helping the emperor to have his business done.
Then we will earn ourselves great reputation and fame.
Alas! Just a dream, but my grey hair is real, what a shame!

Rhyming scheme: ABBA CDDC EE

Di Lu horse: A kind of horse. A horse for Liu Bei from the Three Kingdoms, which could run as fast as the wind.

Explanation:

Feeing so sad the frustrated poet started to drown his sorrows. He felt bleary-eyed and drew his sword from its scabbard under the lamp he had just adjusted. Under the effects of wine, he felt as if he was appearing in the battlefield back in those years when he was young, and sparing no efforts he and his soldiers fought against barbarians who were invading the territories of his country--the Song Dynasty. The poet and all his men were so ambitious to prevent their country from being occupied by their enemies. However, the shameful thing now was that, he thought that he was getting old and fragile, and had a lot of grey hair, but his enemies still kept coming. The scenes of killing them, chasing them away with ambition would be only happening in his dream.
