月落乌啼霜满天
江枫渔火对愁眠
姑苏城外寒山寺
夜半钟声到客船

While the frosty moon was sinking, a crow sharply cried

Ground, covering with white hoar-frost, was shining underneath the frosty moonlight tide

The maple tree by the river bank was falling into sleep, with the sadness aside

As well as the swaying candle light in a fisherman's boat nearside

At the suburbs of the ancient GuSu town, there stands the HandShan temple in the darkness side

The midnight strikes of the temple bell was floating down the mountainside

Touched a lonely boat traveler’s heart, deeply and deeply inside

Outside the city of Gusu, the Cold Mountain Temple,
Spreading the bell's sound to the guest boat at the midnight.
