A:关于孔雀名字的来源，历史上还真没有统一说法，但应该不是指它们尾上覆羽的眼斑。北宋
人陆佃称，“孔”是形容孔雀的羽毛有花纹、光彩夺目；明代李时珍则在《本草纲目》的“孔
雀”条目里说，“孔，大也”——也就是说，“孔雀”就是“大个子的雀鸟”。
