有人说世界会毁于火

也有人说，世界会毁于冰

凭我对欲望的体验

我赞同世界会毁于火的观点

但如果世界要毁灭两次

凭我对仇恨的充分了解

我想说，冰的毁灭力也十分强大

且已大到足够

Fire and Ice

Some say the world will end in fire,

Some say in ice.

From what I’ve tasted of desire

I hold with those who favor fire.

But if it had to perish twice,

I think I know enough of hate

To say that for destruction ice

Is also great

And would suffice.
