1. Suppose that one bowl costs more than two plates, three plates cost more than four candlesticks, and three candlesticks cost more than one bowl. If it costs exactly $100 to purchase a plate, bowl, and candlestick, how much does each item cost?

2. A drawer contains some number of white socks and red socks. If you remove two socks from the drawer at random, the chanceof getting two white socks is exactly one third. Given that the drawer has between 4 and 30 socks, how many red and white socks are there in the drawer?
