Not really, a few my classmates in high school are“回族”

They and their parents look nothing special in 长相. As far as I remember, the only thing was that they told me their parents didn't allow them to eat pork. Interestingly, one of the guys ate more pork than I did for lunch in the school dining hall, of course he said he never ate at home.
