Could you give me some idea? I was eating a few candy bars after Halloween. One of them is kind of like a little energy bar. I had the first one of these without any problem, but the second one knocked down a piece of my crown on the lower right side inside my mouth. That is because there is a pit (of a date) inside the bar and I did not know or expect.

So then I read the package of this little energy bar. There is a very small line of warning that states “may contain pits or nut shell fragments”. It is very hard to notice the warning.

Do you think this is worth pursuing? My crown is now missing a piece. I am thinking that I should go to my dentist who had seen my teeth a few months ago, when my crown was in excellent condition. I guess I should write to the manufacturer, asking for some sort of compensation? I am happy if it is enough to cover the repair of the crown.

I am not sure if it is worth pursuing it. Thank you so much!

FYI, this crown was done in China 3 years ago. It was the most expensive offered at the time. Supposedly it had gold in it. The dentist was very good locally.
