看下面的Q/A. 

Q：How did you decide to work at the hospital?

A:  I'd been applying at the hospital for 3 years.  

Q: Really?

A: Yeah, super hard to get into

This conversion occurrs between two native speakers. Anything wrong or kind of weird thinking or the Q and A is on sound logic?
