Rivers to fires

Rivers to fires

 

Rain falls,

Rivers flow.

Soil nurtures

Trees grow.

Lightning strikes,

Fires glow.

 

Watched the documentary "Gleason". The best film I watched in 2016. He named his son Rivers and linked rivers to fires. Wrote this mini poem to reflect my understanding. Highly recommend this film. I think It is the most honest documentary about heros/legends. Raw, yet powerful. Discussed those perpetual themes, life, death, love between husband and wife, love between father and son, faith, adversity, etc.
