You need to be knowledgeable. Otherwise, you can’t handle the subs. You don’t even know their quality when interviewing them. Now we all have some knowledge about building something but how do you know if that’s enough? My suggestion is: go to a bookstore, find a book titled “Be Your own GC” or something like that, and decide if you’re knowledgeable enough.
