怎样才能让家庭浴室的热水源源不断？

我住的房子是大概六十年代造的，热水用一会儿就没了，让然够一个人用。记得以前住美国的公寓也是这样的。但估计新一点的房子应该有新一点的设施让热水不断吧？或者有没有新式一点的热水器可以一直放热水呢？
