One of my mentors is a Ph.D in physics and so I learned Feymann-Kac formula from him via probabilistic point of view. I published a few papers on them. But  I don't have a complete knowledge about physics since my background is math.

Now I am trying to convince my students to learn as much as they can. In my expiences, I can see that the more you know, the better you can do in research.
