You misunderstand me.

Let me make it clear: I do believe degree is important.

It is a ticket. 100 years ago, no one cared about a degree.

Now without the degree or the ticket, you even can not enter the circle.

The same logic applies to Xi panzi. If he didn't have the so-called Ph.D of Tsinghua U, he could not even creep to the top position. 

I just don't like some people are arguing that Xi is great, although this or that.

In US, if a president got a Ph.D from MIT when he was a governor of CA, what will happen? Can people argue that he is so great like what we are doing here?

A person with a degree but without ability is bad.  A faked degree is worse. The Ph.D of Xi is real, but it is the worst since it is a fruit of power corruption.
