一网友列表按项一一比较清华和MIT并发评论，挺有意思。

ZT I made this chart to compare 清华 and 麻省理工学院 side by side:

From this chart, you can see there are only 2 items 清华 rated higher than 麻省理工学院 therefore helped 清华 to be No.1: one is Conferences and the other Number of Ph.Ds awarded...     

Why this is funny? Because in order for 清华 to stay at No. 1, it has to spend more Chinese taxpayers money on conferences (usually means free meals/tours) and produce more Ph.Ds...

If 亩产万斤粮食, why not 亩产万个Ph.Ds, right?
