A Scholarship is a financial award for excellence. A bursary is a means-tested award for parents who could not otherwise afford the fees, whose sons have been awarded a Scholarship by Harrow. Most Scholarships and bursaries are awarded in the months before a boy enters Harrow. Honorary Scholarships are sometimes given to boys after they have started at Harrow but there is no fee reduction. Bursaries are sometimes awarded to a boy whose parents’ income drops after he starts at the School.

Scholarship 是对学习优秀学生的财政资助。Bursary 奖学金是学子获得哈罗 Scholarship，其父母收入低于平均水平，无法支付学费，学校帮助父母付学费。大部分Scholarship和bursary奖学金在学生入学前几个月发出。名誉奖学金可以在学生入学后授予，但是没有学费减免。Bursary奖学金也可以在学生入学后，父母收入减少，授予该学生。

Scholarship 只占学费的5%，学生必须在哈罗保持令人满意的学习成绩。你必须告诉我们你需要财政资助去支付5% 以外的学费。
