Every year, Frank Peterson retreats to his studio and his extensive personal music collection to find the perfect songs for the next Masters Of Chant . Peterson s own musical taste is very diverse and ranges from classical to rock which is reflected in a wide variety of songs. For one more time, the interpretations of iconic pop and rock songs in monk s cowl take the listeners on a fantastic journey across all genres and decades and offer a balanced mix of classic pop and rock from the past and present.Ranging from the melancholic Angel , originally performed by Sarah McLaughlin, to recent chart success by the young British alternative trio London Grammar ( Strong ) to maybe the most recognizable songs from the 80s, Tears For Fears Shout , Gregorian constantly perform at a high level. With two original compositions the hymn Masters Of Chant featuring the stunning Amelia Brightman who also showcases her impressive vocal range on Rihanna s Farewell and one of the album s highlights, the heartwarming ballad Gentle , as well as songs originally performed by Lionel Richie, Bob Dylan, The Beatles and Tracy Chapman, The Final Chapter leaves a mark on the world.

Ending with two songs which couldn t fit better to the occasion - Sarah Brightman s and Andrea Bocelli s hymn Time To Say Goodbye , here performed in a very special Gregorian version, and the last song on the album, Reinhard Mey s Good Night, Companions Gregorian bid farewell with fireworks:
