Agree with your calculation.  However, it should not be a big effort to make it work for fully loaded plane.  Also, the video shows that when the plane takes off from the the short runway, it became airborne already before leaving the deck and the plane had no sign to drop altitude once in air.  It shows that the engine power is more than sufficient under that test condition.
