The best China can do is to maintain peaceful co-existance between the Kexing and the Burma government.  Kexing is hard to control the entire Burma without another Chinese volunteer force.  If so, China's reputation in the southeastern Asia will be damaged and China is likely to turn other countries in the region into unfriendly.  However, to let Burma government totally defeat Kexing will also damage China's reputation to its followers.  China should use economic lure to stop Burma government's offense on one side and secretely support Kexing with weapons so that it can not be totally extinguished.
