Taiwan, Taiwan, when will you reunite with the Mainland?

The National Party (GMD) has a new chairman - a guy of senior GMD official - who has a gute in his mind if he wins the 2020 election, he would remain the current status of Taiwan. No unification, no independance, no war; the same idea as his former boss - Ma Ing Jeou.

There is no hope for Taiwan to return the arm of the Mother Land - China under whoever rules in Taiwan. 

What does that mean?
