$10 per day is not high at all. It is pretty cheap in my opinion. Besides, those people have to eat regardless where they are.
火鸡、牛排、披萨、蛋糕、水果 are not 饕餮美食 but every day foods. Most of the people would actually prefer fish over other meats, which is lot more pricy.
