Never heard of this place

I know the hostel, it's located on the other side of the dorms, next to the public bath. I was there between 92-96. The hostel is pretty simple, with two double beds in each room.  The side entrance is on a narrow alley with a bunch of people selling plattered lunch daily on the main road.  And of course everyone knows about the girl who was murdered and dismembered. The case is never solved. Apparently he had done a better job than the former Hongkong cop.
