One observation...

I have noticed one thing(among 100 other things :-)) to prevent us(at least me) from sounding like a native speaker is I often forget to use rising tone during a sentence when the sentence is not over, for example, in this sentence:

"A lot of people ask me if it is possible to sound like a native speaker if you weren't born in the U.S".

In below video, Rachel used rising tone at 4 places, on "me", "possible", "sound" and speaker". If I didn't watch this video, my natual way to read this will not be using rising pitch at these words, which will lead to sound chinglish.

Ahem...Just an obervation...
