help!!about auto accident

When I was following the traffic sign and merging into left-turn lane, a bus acrossed the double yellow lines from wrong way, and hit my car on the left side. Since I had no experience, I did not get any personal information from the witness. The bus entered the wrong way in advance, and then caused this accident. But, the bus driver told the reporter that the bus was in the left-turn lane already when I suddenly drove to the left and hit the bus.
