This is a common way to deal with it:
1. Ask your agent to buy it and give to you as a gift. It is his mistake and it is tax write off.

2. Ask seller to sell to you in a discounted price. Most time it is more trouble to move the set than sell it.

3. Screw them, buy a new set and install yourself. Old set might not be safe to your kids anyway.

4. If the agent does not want to fix it, then go with another agent next time.
