If your tax software prints Form 8801 and 6251 for current year, and takes previous year's return as original data, you have nothing to do.

Some AMT tax you paid last year will be phased out this year, depending on what kind of your income and deduction triggered the AMT.

AMT is complicated. It is better to let professionals take care of it. After a couple of years, you can try to report it by yourself, using the professional's return as examples.
