我有一个手机平板电脑维修服务的生意, 有一天一个顾客拿来一个破损很严重手机来修, 我告诉他修不好不收钱,修好后付修理费。我修了一下,手机可以用了, 但是后盖合不上, 我跟顾客讲,我把我的新零件(我付的钱)拿下来,把他的旧零件放上去, 他把手机拿回去找别人修, 我不收他任何修理费, 他给我发了一个短信:
No you have had my phone for weeks now. You have messed up the blue part of my phone and nobody will want to touch it since you have been in it. If someone goes in it who is to blame if it is messed up internally. You are liable until it is fixed. You take it to somebody that you know can fix it. I would have taken it to someone else weeks ago if you had told me you couldn't do it. Don't use my phone to experiment on 。
事实上我以前修好过2个这样的手机,这种手机是最难修理的,我不同意顾客的意见, 顾客要威胁采取法律行动, 该来的就让他来吧,我只好奉陪, 先做点功课。我在GA.
(1)这种案子上什么法庭?依据什么法律?
(2)如果我输了, 最坏的结果是什么?
我已从这是汲取教训, 现在所有的顾客都要先签LIABILITY WAIVER FORM.
