我朋友半年前在西海岸买一旅馆 花了600万美元。 朋友人在中国, 当时是由别人代理作买前的调查, 现在发现上了当, 买了以后才

发现county  assessed value (for property tax purpose) is only $3,100,000. Just half of the purchase price. I talked to county

assessor about this and he said assessed value and market value are not same but should be close.. My friend already paid half

of purchase price and need to pay the rest half by the end of this year. In this case, does my friend have any chance getting some

money back?  Thanks.
