求助單身老貓帮助

我的一个好朋友的孩子在高中复习准备考试的过程中，在手上写了一些和考试有关的公式， 考试交卷后被老师发现手上的公式， 认定有作弊的嫌疑， 交由学校纪律委员会处理。 这孩子实际上是为背诵公式而写在手上，不是为作弊做准备。 我的朋友的孩子是否有向学校或有关部门上诉成功的可能？ 请求指点，非常感谢帮助！
