Two ways. The formal way is to follow Hague Service Convention. You would have to prepare all divorce paperwork, forms, response, so on. Have them translated into Chinese by certified translation firms. These firms typically charge a  few hundred dollars to serve it in China by contacting Chinese Justice Department and follow their procedure. It would take about 6 months or more to serve but it is the only way your US order would be accepted by Chinese government. Chinese government specifically disallows service by mail or service by private process servers. Besides time consuming, it is very expensive. Translation of one page could cost about $30-$60 dollars. These firms would not take other people's translation. That is how they make money. A package in California, for example, costs about $5000to run through the process including translation.

The informal way, you can have some friends/relatives serve him and sign the proof of service and send back to you. US courts will accept that but if the court will not be accepted by Chinese government. Meaning, if you plan to go back to China, you may find out you might be still married even though a US court declare the end of your marriage here.
