Sorry to hear it.

In TX, you could not sue them. The law only protect the
maternity leave. If you could give birth to baby 2 weeks earlier, they would not lay you off. During the pregnancy and after maternity leave, you have no choice.

That's the case a couple of year ago. Not sure if it is still like this now.
