I meant the tax calculator gave a lower number based on the current tax plan (under the Obama administration) than what I actually paid for 2015.
This is likely due to the AMT I paid, plus the Medicare Surtax etc. , for 2015 tax year.
Under the Trump tax plan I am supposed to see a significant tax reduction.. Not sure it is realistic though.
