1. insurance

File a claim with your insurance, and an adjuster will come and look at your issue.  He may be able to advise you how to proceed.  It costs nothing to file a claim and talk to them. 

Be aware that any claim filed will be on your record, and when you sell the condo the buyer will be able to see. 

2.  mold won't grow once the place is dry.   You can have the carpet spot patched if you can find matching carpet material.  This doesn't seem to be a lot of problem, maybe $200 if you have handyman do it for you.
